US Vice-President confirms interest in watching match against Ghana in Natal

On a telephone call with President Dilma Rousseff, Joe Binden has confirmed his visit to Brasília on 17 June, one day after the match in the Dunas Arena.

President Dilma Rousseff received a telephone call from United States Vice President Joe Biden this Thursday (8 May). During the call, which lasted for about 25 minutes, Biden expressed his intention to Visit Brazil on 16 June to watch the match between the United States and Ghana national teams at the Dunas Arena in Natal. On the following day, he will be received by President Dilma Rousseff and Vice President Michel Temer in Brasilia. “I will be honoured with the visit, which does nothing but add to Brazil’s prestige”, said Rousseff.
