Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari announced the 23 players for the Confederations Cup 2013. The names were unveiled in a press conference in a hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
On 27 May, the players will arrive in Rio de Janeiro, where they will train for Brazil’s next friendly on 2 June. Their opponents will be England and the match will serve as a FIFA test event for the Maracanã.
From Rio, the team will travel to Goiânia on 3 June. The capital city of the state of Goiás will be Brazil’s training venue until 12 June, when the delegation goes to Brasilia. During this time, Brazil has a friendly against France on 9 June, at the Gremio Arena in Porto Alegre.
On 15 June, Brazil takes to the pitch in the Confederations Cup opening match against Asian Champion Japan at the National Mané Garrincha Stadium.
