Draw that will decide the calendar of the 2014 FIFA World Cup matches will take place in Bahia in 2013

The event will be held in Costa do Sauípe, in the state’s north coast

This Thursday (28.06) afternoon, FIFA Secretary-General Jerome Valcke stated during a press conference that the final draw that will define the calendar of the 2014 FIFA World Cup matches will take place in the state of Bahia. The decision was endorsed during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Local Organising Committee at the Convention Centre in Brasilia.

The draw will be held in in December 2013, in Costa do Sauípe (photo), which is in the Bahia's north coast. On the other hand, the draw for the FIFA Confederations Cup has been confirmed for the 1st of December 2012, at the Anhembi Complex in Sao Paulo.
