The Brazilian team will play Bolivia in a friendly scheduled to take place on 6 April in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Income generated by the match will be given to the family of young Kevin Espada, who died on 21 February after being hit by a stray firecracker fired by Corinthians fans during a match against San José in the Bolivian city of Oruro as part of the Libertadores Cup.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed the match and will provide more details on the date players will be called and travel on its official website. As this is not a FIFA date, only players working in Brazil are allowed to be in the national team for this match.
The upcoming matches for Brazil are now already scheduled – against Italy, in Geneva (Switzerland) on 21 March; against Russia, in London (UK) on 25 March; against Chile, in Belo Horizonte (Brazil) on 24 April; against England, in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) on 2 June; and against France, in Porto Alegre on 9 June. Then the Brazilian team will play the Confederations Cup from 15 to 30 June.
The first match of the Brazilian team in the second half of 2013 will be against the Swiss, in Basel (Switzerland) on 14 August.
