Brazil beat Egypt 3-2 in Cardiff

Photo: CBF# The Brazilian national football team beat Egypt 3-2 in their first match at the Olympics in London. The group C match was played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. In the other match in the group, Belarus beat New Zealand 1-0. Therefore, Brazil leads the group with three points, tied with the European team, but is ahead on goals scored.

The Brazilian goals were scored by Rafael, Leandro Damião and Neymar – all in the first half. In the second half, Egypt pulled two back with Aboutrika and Salah.
