Brazil faces Australia on 7 September at the National Stadium in Brasilia

The friendly against the Australians will be Brazil’s second after the Confederations Cup title

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has confirmed that Brazil will return to the National Mané Garrincha Stadium in Brasilia on 7 September. They will play Australia at 04:15 pm. As Brazil, South Korea, Iran and Japan, Australia has also already booked their place in the 2014 World Cup.

The match, scheduled for Brazil's Independence Day will be the seventh between both nations. They last met at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Adriano and Fred got on the scoresheet in the 2-0 victory in Munich.

The friendly against the Australians will be Brazil’s second after the Confederations Cup title. Before that, on 14 August, Brazil plays Switzerland (see the full list of players).
