The road to the final in Maracanã

The FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 is a short tournament, with 16 matches in total. There are eight sides divided into two groups. The 2013 edition will be played in six host cities between 15 and 30 June. Brazil, Italy, Japan and Mexico are in Group A. Spain, Uruguay, Nigeria and Tahiti are in Group B. The teams play each other in their groups. The top two of each group qualify for the semi-final. The first place of Group A plays the second place of Group B, and the first place of Group B plays the second place in Group A. If two or more teams are equal in relation to points in the group stage, their ranking will be decided on goal difference and goal scored.
