This document establishes the duties of states and municipalities regarding actions for the 2014 World Cup
The Matrix of Responsibilities covers infrastructure priorities in the 12 cities that will be staging the 2014 World Cup games, such as airports, ports, urban mobility, stadiums, and hotel industry.
The purpose of this document is to outline the roles of the individual signatories (Federal Government, States, Federal District, and Municipalities) for the implementation of the joint actions and key projects to hold the 2014 World Cup according to the enclosed document and any future additions.
This document was signed on the 13th of January 2010 by Minister of Sports Orlando Silva and by 11 mayors and 12 governors (the Federal District, one of the host cities, does not have a mayor). It sets out the responsibilities of the individual federated units in the organisation of the Tournament in these areas.
